About

CARSON DEANS

Carson Deans is a 19 year-old guitarist and musician from Nashville, TN who plays with his own distinct style blending blues-rock with funk and jazz-infused improv jams.

“Clear Nights”, his debut studio EP was written, recorded, and co-produced at the age of 16 and channels his broad range of influences from early jazz instrumentalists to rock and blues, contemporary jam bands, and everything in between.

Carson picked up his first guitar at the age of 6 and within a few years was busking for the crowds down on Broadway in Nashville’s Honky-Tonk district.  Since then, he’s continued to hone his craft developing a unique sound best described “as if Steely Dan had a kid with Dire Straits who grew up in Nashville next door to Phish”.
